Events, activities, programs, and fundraisers are only possible with the help of volunteers. We can't do it without you! The Volunteer Coordination Committee is responsible for soliciting volunteers for everything throughout the year and also recognizing and thanking our volunteers.
Volunteer Coordination Chair Time Requirement - Begins in July/August and lasts the school year. Average is about 10 hours a month. This Chair is a voting member of the PTA board and attends monthly board meetings.
Summary of Responsibilities:
1. Solicit for open committee chair and committee member positions
2. Create sign ups for PTA events/activities and school volunteer needs
3. Develop and execute plan to appreciate and recognize volunteers
4. Recognize volunteers in monthly newsletters
5. Recognize volunteers at end of year Thank You breakfast
